Wow it makes so much sense that these are by the same director! I love both films, and agree that they are visually absolutely stunning. Action , Drama , Romance. This is one film that almost requires a repeat viewing due to many twists and turns of the story. Curse of the Golden Flower follows appropriately in this tradition. Curse of the Golden Flower.
